been working (slogging my guts out), giving tuition, preparing for my btt, doing uni applications, packing for aussie trip, going for french class, playing tennis with the guys once since they pop-ed, last min attendance for class gathering last sat, attending open houses. oh yeah, the dancing and songs in step up 2 is freakin awesomee. albeit the severe lack of a storyline, but who cares. haha.
oh plus yesterday was the toughest work day ever. fiona, jean and i were dying. felt like punching half the .... ok nvm. haha. oh yeah i passed my btt. woot.
well, my much needed break starts TONIGHT. trip to melbourne for 11 days yo.
i'm teetering with excitement. haha. ok not yet, but probably when i'm getting on the plane i suppose.
(i have this tendency to use caps excessively of late, shall attempt to resort to bolding them more from now onwards.)

IM TIRED.
haha kwann was getting worried bout me working too hard, but don't worry kwann i'll try my best to stay on my two feet! i think after the whole drama that happened last week for those who are waiting for As, we're still a little disoriented. you could almost see everyone's eyes glazing over at the open house talks. well, that's apart from those who look so determined their eyes are almost popping out. its pretty horrifying, to be honest.
well, talking bout open houses, went to the smu open house with dee last saturday. haha we had our talks plan all mapped out prior to even leaving our houses. i shan't comment too much bout the open house.
a few colleagues and i were asked to help out at the singapore tourism awards at the esplanade last tues, was something different but it wasn't exactly thrilling either. haha. the company made it more bearable though. saw a few famous faces from the tourism industry like Seetoh and Bobby Chin and the CEOs of nightclubs like Dennis Foo etc. but it was still rather dry albeit it being an eye-opener.
those two girls were supposed to go to my side but being lazy pigs, they settled for leaning. resulting a shot like below -looks down- gosh.

This had a special story behind it. I was standing next to Ida. So I was saying..
I: Ida, have you met my buddy?
Ida: ...
I: OMG IDA IT'S COMING TOWARDS YOU!
then we scrambled out of that area. :X hey it's scary okay. i felt almost like i was part of I-Robot. HAHA.
she conveniently forgot to add in the fact that she let out a little squeal, grabbed my arm and shoved me forward. the robot didnt freak me out, SHE did.
audrey's away in the uk for two weeks that lucky brat. was talking bout her getting me a kilt but i hope she knows im kiddin. hahaha. though it would be rather interesting. apart from the fact that its 35pounds. she just emailed me from the uk.

Worked early in the morn on wednesday, and time passed pretty quick that day. probably because it was the first time i was doing a full shift with AUDWEE. haha. we were busy competing with each other speed-typing, though i wasn't much of a competition i reckon. but, i've improved! haha. hopped onto the city shuttle from the airport after work with a few other colleagues to head down to suntec after that.

on the flyer! i've gotta say, its really nothin to shout about. just like seeing singapore from the really tall building. you could hardly feel the rotation, nor elevation. which kinda sucks. cos it gets boring after about 10 minutes, not anywhere remotely near the full 37 mins long ride. but its the company that counts i guess, haha cos us girls ended up takin lotsa shots to fill our time.

huang thought i looked like i wanted to kiss her, and audrey reckoned i was smelling her hair. when all i was doing was LAUGHIN. goodness.
i was taunting huang about taking a picture of her unaware so she quickly tried to hide, just when she thought i was not gonna snap the photo and she did her signature ROAR, i snapped.
muahahahaha. im sorry huang. no, really. =X

had dinner with audrey at crystal jade before we headed back.. it was pretty fun, because of the company (: all the photos are up on "my photos 2"
had an off day yesterday, so audrey and i were due to play tennis in the morn but it drizzled so we decided to play badminton. not before making a few wasted trip down to the expo though. -.- haha. had lunch at eastpoint before heading back for badminton. it wasn't too bad i reckon. rather tiring actually. i hope my tennis strokes are still existent. haven't played in eons! i've got to get back on the court soon.
headed back out of the house to parkway to meet kwann and her mum for dinner and to look up some stuff. kudos to kwann for being patient with me when we were lookin up stuff. haha and to dee for bearing with the barrage of calls. hahahha. but they were necessary! =x
kwann's just bout departing now. just gave her a call, after i've used my DOLLARS worth (kwann knows), had to hang up. hope you reach aussie safely kwann (:
